Exterior Design & Feature

Widely acclaimed for it's dramatically beautiful design, the XK 10MY styling has evolved to signal the upgraded performance that all XKs possess. Unique features further distinguish the individual pedigree of the XKR. Key styling changes for 2010MY are as follows:

  • All models gain a new distinctive and purposeful front bumper design.
    • The XKR features chrome finish to the upper and lower mesh grilles.
    • The XKS and XKS Portfolio feature chrome finish to the upper mesh grille and black detailing to the lower. At 10MY the naturally aspirated models no longer feature the splitter bar to the upper grille
  • New door mirrors with integrated LED side repeater and approach lamp
  • Revised body coloured side power vents for all models
  • New LED rear lights with twin reversing lamps and fog lamps
  • New rear bumper valance, black moulded for naturally aspirated versions and colour keyed for XKR
  • Revised tail pipes for all models with improved acoustics for XKR
  • Chrome in lieu of aluminium finishers for XKR exterior treatment (DLO and rear signature blade)
  • New engine covers
  • 5 new wheel designs 

Series Strategy

At 10MY Jaguar introduces the cross carline Series Strategy to the XK range for the first time. There are 3 models

  • XKS – a well appointed and luxury introduction model (5.0 V8 only)
  • XKS Portfolio – introduced on XK and XF at 10MY. The XKS Portfolio combines the highest quality materials and features to create the ultimate luxury XK (5.0 V8 only)
  • XKR - Jaguar's flagship performance car (5.0V8 Supercharged only)

Interior Feature

The luxuriously appointed XK range is further enhanced at 2010MY with the following trim and feature changes

  • Jaguar Drive Selector with rotary shifter.  This feature was originally offered on XF and is now available on XK for the first time
  • Jaguar Handshake.  For the first time XK has the Jaguar “handshake”.  The black start/stop button pulses red when the car is unlocked and the Jaguar Drive Selector rises from the centre console once the car is started.
  • New heated and cooled seats (option for XKS and XKR, standard fitment for XKS Portfolio and XKR with R Performance Interior)
  • New interior colour-way – Ivory seating with Oyster upper environment and Oyster carpet (XKS Portfolio and XKR with R Performance Interior)
  • Rich Oak veneer replaces Satin American Walnut (all models)
  • Figured Ebony veneer, new and unique to XKS Portfolio at no extra cost
  • Dark Mesh Aluminium replaces Aluminium Weave, unique and standard fitment to XKR
  • Dark Oak veneer, new and unique to XKR at no extra cost
  • Availability of HD radio for US, SDARS satellite radio for US and Canada and DAB radio in Europe (market availability to be confirmed)
  • Initially shown on the limited edition XKR-S, Jaguar Suedecloth premium headlining in Jet colour is available when Charcoal trim/upper environment is requested for XKR with R Performance Interior
  • Instruments illuminated in white light. replacing green
  • Supercharged graphic to touch screen for XKR
  • Red pointers to instrument pack for XKR
  • Additional craftsmanship upgrades
