The liberalization of automobile industry in the middle of 1991, through drastic reduction in import tariff, brightened the prospects in selling luxury cars. AAS Auto Service Co., Ltd. ( Thailand ) in joint venture with Wearnes Automotive & Equipments Pte.( Singapore ) therefore bid for the franchise of Jaguar Cars for Thailand and successfully won the bid.
Jaguar Cars (Thailand) Co., Ltd.was therefore established on 15 April 1992 to represent Jaguar Cars Ltd., of U.K as its official importer and distributor for Jaguar and Daimler motor cars and parts in Thailand.
With the belief in the first car sold by sales whereas the next and subsequent ones by services, JCTC has strictly adhered to its philosophy of "enhance customer satisfaction by providing clients with "high quality cars" and "excellent value-for-money services" from its first day of operations. To achieve the foregoing, considerable amount of continuous investments have been made not only in high-technology equipment, but also in human resources in form of training and standards improvement.
